Description
Hear how Houston
Methodist and Ardent Health Services have implemented wearable vital signs
monitors as tools to empower nurses and address emerging challenges in low
acuity settings. With a goal to enhance workflows, improve patient safety, and
streamline capacity management these groups will share how they are
implementing new technologies that expand patient monitoring in the hospital
and at home.
Audience members will
gain perspective on the need to enhance patient monitoring practices given the
rise in general patient acuity and consistent strain on nurses today. In a
panel discussion, clinical leaders from Houston Methodist, BSA Hospital, and
Hillcrest Medical Center will share their teams’ experience leveraging wearable
vital signs monitors, how these new tools have been used by nurses to identify
patient trends and act earlier.
