Description

Overview:

AHRMM launched the CQO (Cost, Quality and Outcomes) Movement as an advanced way of approaching health care supply chain. Under the CQO movement, the supply chain can no longer focus exclusively on price, but rather the combination of product cost, the quality of care delivered and the reimbursement outcomes to support health care’s new value-based models. This course focuses on the foundational understandings of adopting a clinically integrated supply chain.

Learning Objectives:
  • Define CQO (Cost, Quality and Outcomes).
  • Compare and contrast the traditional sourcing process with the clinically integrated sourcing process.
  • Understand the critical role of a clinically integrated supply chain in health care delivery, specifically its impact on enhancing patient experiences and directly correlating with improved patient outcomes.
