Description
Preparing for disasters has become essential in health care organizations. Even with the best preparations, it is not possible to know how a disaster might impact well-conceived plans. This session explores the 2017 Las Vegas shooting and how the multi-disciplinary team responded. The former Chief Nurse Executive from Sunrise Hospital will discuss the experience and the possible applications for other health care organizations. Objectives - Discuss Gun Violence statistics in the United States.
