This program will be held virtually via Zoom. A Zoom access link will be emailed to all registered attendees a few days prior to the start of the program.
The Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) Train-the-Trainer (T3) program equips health care environmental services leaders with the knowledge and instructional skills to train and certify EVS technicians at their organization. Participants will be able to assess their EVS knowledge and earn a T-CHEST designation, which is required to lead training and facilitate certification. Become a T-CHEST and share critical concepts in pathogen control and disinfection with teams to drive exceptional performance.
The program provides an opportunity to connect with fellow future T-CHESTs, participate in hands-on exercises, cover the fundamentals of environmental services, and have ample time for questions.
Registration
When registering, please use the AHE account of the attending participant. If you are registering on behalf of someone else, do not do so from your own account – registrations cannot be transferred from one name/account to another.
Registrants must attend all 3 sessions in their entirety to be eligible for the CSCT trainer designation.
Mailing Addresses
Program materials will be sent to registered attendees. Registrants receive an address verification email approximately 2 weeks prior to the start of the program. Program materials are shipped through UPS; no P.O. Box addresses are accepted. Please provide an alternate address if the mailing address is a P.O. Box.
Cancellations
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to ahe@aha.org. All requests must be submitted no less than 15 business days prior to the start of the program. The refund will be subject to a $300 cancellation fee. No refund or credit will be issued for requests submitted 15 business days or fewer prior to the start of the program.
