Dawn Plimmer - Symplr, Director, Purchased Services
Dawn Plimmer is an executive with a diverse skill set and extensive experience in various industries. Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and an emphasis in Statistics from Iowa State University, Dawn has excelled in roles ranging from insurance, financial services, agribusiness, and health care.
In 2019, Dawn joined Tract Manager, where she assumed a pivotal role leading the implementation and training for a range of Spend products, including Purchased Services, Capital Market Intelligence, Recall Tracker, Consumables, and Expert RFP. Currently, she spearheads the Account team for Purchased Services, working closely with clients to strategically manage their spend.
 
Dawn's professional journey has seen her lead teams on both national and global scales. Her expertise extends across project management, agile methodologies (CSM, CSPO), human resources (GPHR, SHRM-SCP), and learning and performance (CPLP). Notably, she holds certifications as a facilitator with Development Dimensions International (DDI) and is a Certified Change Management Professional (Prosci).
 
With a passion for helping organizations navigate transitions, Dawn focuses on the people side of change, bringing a unique blend of learning expertise, change management, and leadership support to the table. Her facilitation skills are evident in leading technical courses, leadership development, employee sessions, and executive development workshops.
 
Beyond her professional endeavors, Dawn resides in Urbandale, Iowa, where she enjoys gardening and tackling various home improvement projects. A proud graduate of Iowa State University, she navigates the complexities of being an ISU graduate within a household of University of Iowa devotees.  The whole house however, unites
to support the Kansas City Chiefs.
 
 
Janie Ott - The University of Kansas Health System, Vice President of Supply Management
As Vice President of Spend Management, Ms. Ott is responsible for building strong teams and  driving operational excellence in a learning environment that accelerates value for the organization. Ms.Ott has a robust clinical background in cardiology and radiology, working more than 20 years in the Cardiac Cath lab and interventional radiology.
 
Ms.Ott has developed several functional areas of Spend Management within her department:
  • Clinical Supply Optimization (CSO)
  • Distribution Center (DC)
  • Business Sourcing Strategies (BSS)
  • Distribution and Logistics (D&L)
  • Business Applications and Analytics (BAA)
  • Operational Sourcing (OS)
 
In addition to the above, Ms. Ott  created a home medical equipment retail business, MyHealth at Home, to support patients needs at home.
 
Ms. Ott enjoys being outdoors and spending quality time with grandchildren and her dog, Mossy. Her hobbies include fishing, hiking, and flying kites. One might also find Ms.Ott riding her ATV around her country home in Louisburg, Kansas, where she resides with her husband, Tim.
