Description

Increasingly, health care providers are being held accountable for improving quality and decreasing costs, prompted by changes in reimbursement by payors and accelerated by reforms enacted under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA). As a result, cost, quality, and outcomes increasingly are being incorporated into all facets of hospital and health system decisions.

  • Identify the major implications of the Affordable Care Act on supply chain operations.
