With the Safe Day One program you will learn about the unique challenges that every healthcare facility faces: assuring the safety of your patients while maintenance, repair or construction work is performed. As a technician that is preparing to enter into a healthcare facility, it is crucial that you understand that your action will directly impact the safety of those around you. Quite literally, the decisions you make can be life or death decisions. The Safe Day One program raises the level of knowledge for everyone, staff, and contractors so that disruptions to the environment of care are minimized.
