AHRMM Webinar: Shared Risk Contracting: Provider and Supplier Perspectives

Date: Mar 14, 2018 - Mar 14, 2018
Single Registration
Many organizations track the performance of at least some of their products or services with vendor scorecards and regular benchmarking. More recently, we are hearing about risk sharing models that align the economics of the agreement to product or service performance and outcomes. In this webinar, we’ll learn about this relatively new concept in healthcare and how sharing responsibility can enhance both parties’ performance levels and improve patient outcomes through mutual investment.
Learning Objectives:
  • Explain the key elements of risk sharing and value-based contracting
  • Discuss how risk sharing and value-based contracts can assist in achieving the Triple Aim and CQO
  • Describe the types of terms and conditions that may be included in a value-based contract
CQO Tie-In:
Sharing the risk of product or service performance through value-based contracting exists along a continuum from guarantees based on some level of performance, to sophisticated clinical outcome-based shared value capture. Cost savings is only part of the Cost Quality and Outcomes (CQO) movement.
